About Space and Seasons Lab

Explore solar-system structure, the Sun and Moon, stars and galaxies, day and night, and Earth’s seasons. Correct answers can trigger celebrations. Feedback and retry options depend on the game.

Curriculum purpose

Learning objective: Use gravity, scale, emitted and reflected light, rotation, orbit and axial tilt to explain selected space observations.

Curriculum anchor: England KS3 Science: gravity in the solar system, the Sun as a star, other stars and galaxies, and seasons caused by Earth’s tilt.

This game is designed as short independent practice after an idea has been introduced. It does not replace direct teaching, mathematical or scientific discussion, or an adult checking whether the learner can explain the idea away from the screen.

For parents and carers

Ask the learner to separate rotation from orbit and axial tilt from Earth–Sun distance. Take a break when you need one.
