Open topic finderYour browser confirms installation. If your school blocks adding apps, use the finder in a tab or bookmark it.
This preview lets you try the finder. App installation needs a secure app link.
A few practical details
Before you add it
What happens when someone searches?
The search opens on TheLearnDen in a new tab. Topic pages link to learning resources, including independent providers. Some linked resources need an account or payment.
What happens to searches?
The search box does not save a search history or send analytics events. The iframe loads its files from the server hosting it. A submitted search sends the search phrase to TheLearnDen so it can show results. The destination website has its own privacy information.
Can pupils add the topic finder app?
A school may limit app installation. Its administrator chooses what is allowed. The topic finder and website search box still work in a browser tab.
How do I remove it?
Delete the embed block or link in your website editor and publish the page again. Remove the topic finder app through your browser’s app manager or the app’s menu. Clearing saved site data can also remove other TheLearnDen settings.
For website administrators
The iframe needs your site to allow https://thelearnden.com in its frame policy. It opens search results in a new tab. If your site blocks embeds or new tabs, use the plain search link.
Existing script embeds
The original v1 script stays unchanged. If you need its installation code, use the versioned copy below.
<script src="https://thelearnden.com/widget/v1/widget.min.js" integrity="sha384-4nZa8e5+py4QnYk9JpPS/Vv0xVhgBwb1r1MJV9d2VoBGe5Ht/ytbx8kXu6sx2dhT" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>The automatic-update script address remains available for existing installations.
Widget changelog
Version 1 keeps its existing script and integrity value: sha384-4nZa8e5+py4QnYk9JpPS/Vv0xVhgBwb1r1MJV9d2VoBGe5Ht/ytbx8kXu6sx2dhT. The new iframe layout uses a separate address so older iframe sizes can keep their original layout.
